Swing set in the yard does not have any of the required fall zones in order to be used with the children. Discussed swings being removed to make inaccessible to the childcare children. Observed a makeshift ring swing between trees in the wooded area. No fall zones are installed to prevent injury and observed a large rock in close proximity that poses a danger for a child if they landed on it. A large sandbox must be covered when not in use to prevent animals from getting in.

Reviewed five children's files. Educator has created her own enrollment packet. Packets were last signed by parents in March 2024. This information must be updated every year by the parents. Four children are missing physical/immunization documentation, and one child's medical form was over a year old. Per state regulations, every child must have a physical within a year and an immunization record on file at the program. These records must be updated annually.

Educator has a sheet on a small clipboard for recording attendance, however, there was no attendance on the day of the visit. A written attendance must be tracked with the daily arrival and departure times of the children as they occur. Attendance must be accessible and accurate at any given point in the day. The attendance must be taken on any hikes with the children. Attendance must be saved in the educator's records for five years per EEC regulations.
In ground swimming pool is covered and surrounded by a fence with three latch gates. None of the gates have a lock on them to prevent children access to the pool area.
