The first aid kit was missing medical tape.
The Educator was storing the toothbrushes individually, but they were not open to the air. Gave technical assistance about how to store the toothbrushes so they would be open to the air.
There was one drawer in the dining room that had hazards in it accessible to the children (cords, batteries, etc.)

There was a cloth cover on the diaper changing pad that could not be disinfected. Discussed that the surface needs to be able to be disinfected after every diaper change. The Educator removed the cover during the visit. There is a second surface that is individual to each child.
This license upgrade visit inspection recorded no violations or advisories.
Records were reviewed for the nine children enrolled. Two of the children needed Annual Update forms.
The staff records were missing current physicals and proof of trainings.
The first aid kit was missing an emergency card for one of the enrolled children.
Children washed hands after coming in from outside. There was liquid soap, but there was one towel that every child used to dry their hands. Discussed children must dry their hands with a disposable towel or with a towel individual to each child.
