At the time of the visit, the refrigerator thermometer read 20 degrees Fahrenheit. Observations from original visit on 2024-08-29 00:00:00: At the time of the visit, the refrigerator thermometer read 45 degrees Fahrenheit. Corrective Plan received on 2024-10-28 00:00:00: I bought a new refrigerator thermometer and its now working fine.
Refrigerator Temperature
A review of the children's enrollment form indicates that 2 children enrolled in the childcare program have a health condition that requires them to have their information posted and medication at the program. The educator did not have the information posted nor the medication or individual health care plan at the program. Licensor reviewed the enrollment form and medical record of these children with the educator. Corrective Plan received on 2024-10-28 00:00:00: I have no kids with medical conditions anymore. Corrective Plan received on 2024-10-28 00:00:00: All medical records and enrollment forms are now updated and complete in each file.
A review of the educator's professional development training certificates indicated that the educator completed only 19 hours of professional development training. Educator stated that she completed more than 30 hours of professional development training. She stated she will ask her coordinator to provide her with the certificates for all the trainings she has completed.
Water Temperature
At the time of the visit, the Carbon Monoxide detector was beeping. The educator stated that she has submitted an order to Housing and she is waiting for their response.
Equipment, materials and furnishings - Play Materials
Upon arrival, the licensor observed the educator using indoor equipment in an unsafe manner. Licensor observed children older than two-year-old sitting in an unsafe/unhealth manner on highchairs and bouncy seats that were too small for them when considering their height and weight. Children appeared to be uncomfortable as they were too big for the highchairs and bouncy seats they were sitting on. The children's feet were observed dangling down and unable to fit on the part of the highchair where they are supposed to rest their feet. Educator stated that she only places them on those highchairs and bouncy seats when she needs to tend to her needs.
At the time of the visit, the refrigerator thermometer read 45 degrees Fahrenheit.
Licensor observed a stack of chair stored on the exit route. As observed and tested, they can easily fall over children during an emergency evacuation.
The licensor tested the water temperature, and the thermometer read 125 degrees Fahrenheit
At the time of the visit, the smoke detector was beeping. The educator stated that she has submitted an order to Housing and she is waiting for their response.

Educator failed to keep children in a safe location when she used highchairs and bouncy seat to sit children older than two-year-old on them. As observed by the licensor, the children were unsafe/unhealth on the highchairs and bouncy seats because they were too small for them when considering their height and weight. Children appeared to be uncomfortable as they were too big for the highchairs and bouncy seats they were on. There is a bookcase in the Playroom which is not secure and could be a tipping hazard to children. There is a container with face cream, toothpaste, 2 small bottles of toner, and bathroom spray that is accessible to children and could be hazardous. There is a can of bathroom spray and a container of disinfecting wipes on the floor of the bathroom which is accessible to children and could be hazardous. There is a large make up mirror on the side of the bathtub that is accessible to children and could be a falling hazard. There are: 2 peelers, a corkscrew, 2 carving forks in a drawer in the Kitchen, a bottle opener in a drawer in the Kitchen, 2 boxes of plastic bags in a cabinet in the Kitchen, and a box of matches on a small shelving unit in the Kitchen, which are accessible to children and could be hazardous. At the time of the visit, the educator moved the box of matches to a top cabinet so it is no longer accessible to children.
