There was one child with a documented allergy that was not posted, as required.
There were seven children present one the day of the visit. One of the children's arrival time was not documented on the attendance records. The assistant did add the arrival time after EEC Licensor reviewed the records.
There was one certified assistant (10) alone with 7 children . None of the children were school-aged. The educator did return to the program about 25 minutes after Licensor arrived.
This monitoring outside differential licensing cycle visit inspection recorded no violations or advisories.

The door to the napping room was closed tight when the licensor arrived and there were 8 napping children including 1 infant.
Nap materials
There was not a distance of at least 2 ft between each mat and/or pack and play or a distance of at least 3ft between children's faces while napping or resting.
The following were observed: there was one drawer that was not locked at the time of the visit and there were sharp knives accessible additionally there 2 glass bottles accessible on the edge of the counter.

A review of 12 children’s records show that 2 children do not have a medical on file they just have immunizations

The licensor observed a plug in air freshener in the bathroom plug accessible to children
EEC Assistant
The licensor conducted a follow up visit today. The educator was caring for 8 children including 3 children under the age of 2 and 1 was not 15 months and walking. There were no school age children in care. The ages were (REDACTED) The educator is still waiting for her daughter to be approved as an assistant. The application was submitted on 5/26/22 and we are still waiting on final BRC approval

The educator was working with her daughter, who is an approved preschool teacher for group child care but has not yet been approved to work as an FCC assistant. She submitted her application on 5/26/22
On the day of the visit, the Educator was the only licensed caregiver in the program. There were 8 children present including 4 children under the age of 2 present, including 3 infants. Since the Educator has been using an unapproved assistant since September this has been happening on a regular basis
EEC Assistant

The Educator's assistant does not have a certificate from EEC to work as an assistant in family child care. There was some confusion between qualifications/certificates to work in a group child care vs. family child care. This assistant is qualified to work as a preschool teacher in a group setting. The assistant has been working in family child care since September

Progress reports are not current and are not being completed on schedule.
Supervision
When the licensor arrived at the program, they observed an (REDACTED) child sleeping in a pack-and-play. The fitted sheet was not secure, and the mattress was improperly positioned, leaving a gap at one end. Additionally, two blankets were tied around the outside of the pack-and-play. This is the second citation for infant safe sleep practices at the program.
