The educator transports children. Educator does not have a first aid kit in her car, emergency cards needs to be updated, first aid kit was missing the treating tape, and educator needs to have a seatbelt cutter.

A review of children’s files was completed. Educator transports children to extracurricular activities after school. The general permission needs to be specific with places the educator takes children off premises. Educator needs to be added as authorized person to pick up children from program.

It was observed that there was a large painting and a guitar in the living room that are easily tippable.
Indoor Hazards
Stairways
Attendance records were reviewed. Attendance records did not reflect a consistency in children being signed in and out on a daily basis reflecting actual times of arrival and departure.
Stairway railing from front entrance was observed to have access to nails on each side of the railing. Railing was observed to be in need of repair to ensure safety. There was no gate preventing access to stairway on first floor level.
