It was observed that the educator did not have her first aid kit with her while outside with the children. Discussed with the educator to ensure her first aid kit is always outside with her during outdoor play.

It was observed that the temporary fencing used to prevent access to wood branches was bent and was not completely enclosing the branches. An opening from the bottom paneling of the home was observed. It was observed that there was no barrier installed at the bottom of both deck stairways to prevent access.

There was documentation indicating a child has an (REDACTED). Educator did not have an (REDACTED) on the premises for that child.
Thermometer was not functioning properly.
It was observed that there were multiple electrical cords were accessible to children in the living room. All electrical cords must be arranged so they are not a hazard to children.
It was observed that there was access to peeling paint on the front entrance door.
In the kitchen it was observed that there was access to hazards in one of the kitchen cabinets. Some of the hazards observed were plastic bags, parchment and foil paper rolls which had the sharp edge. In the living room there was a tall lamp accessible to children, which was easily tippable.

CPR expires on 5/2020 First Aid is expired on 7/2019. It was discussed with the educator that she must complete her recertification within the next two weeks (11/5/2019) and provide proof.
The educator’s daughter who is a household member had a baby. It was reviewed with the educator that she must submit the change of household composition through her LEAD portal.
