In "room 2": 1) the tall cabinet that is to the left of the door was you walk in was observed to be unsecured, with educator's purses stored inside, creating a potential risk to children. 2) the plunger was observed to be stored in the reach of children in the bathroom space, creating a potential hazard. 3) the bookshelf was not secured as required by regulation.
During a random review of staff records, it was learned that one educator had documentation of one professional reference, rather than two as required by regulation.

3 children’s records were selected for review and the following was learned: One child did nothing have evidence of a face sheet that was signed and dated by their parent or their date of admission recorded. 2 children did not have evidence of a [REDACTED] as required by regulation and one child did not have evidence of a transportation plan that was signed and dated by their parent.
4 staff records were reviewed and the following was learned: One staff did not have evidence of a staff form. 2 staff did have evidence of a PQ registry, 2 staff did not have evidence of having provided the program a current [REDACTED] within one year as required. One staff did have evidence of [REDACTED] records as required.
