One of the reviewed IHCP's expired. The program has a note out to the family to obtain current documentation. Additionally, one child in care did not have an IHCP available for review.
One of the reviewed staff had a pending status as evidenced in the EEC / BRC System. The staff member had not yet received a fingerprint. Please ensure that this staff member's BRC is completed and moves to suitability as staff without a suitable status cannot work with children as in accordance with EEC regulation and policy.

Some of the reviewed staff records did not document all EEC required information including training. One reviewed record did not document evidence of MMR Immunity.

The posted allergy list in some of the reviewed classrooms did not document current information. A child who no longer has an allergy was documented on to the posted list.
Outdoor Space - R Apr 2025
CPR and First Aid cards were not available for EEC review at the time of the visit. Please email these cards to EEC, when received. The program did provide documented evidence (attendance and communication with the CPR / First Aid instructor) to show that all program staff completed the required CPR / First Aid courses in March, 2022. The program waits to receive the certification cards from the CPR / First Aid instructor. The updated cards will expire in 2023-24 as evidenced on the program's Staff Records Checklist.
One child's {REDACTED} medication was not stored in the original packaging with the prescription affixed.

EEC reviewed a sampling of Background Checks against the BRC Navigator System. One of the reviewed BRC's were documented within the system as expired.
Background Record Checks
It was reported, at the time of the visit, that {REDACTED} breast milk was heated and /or defrosted using microwaved water rather than water from the tap that does not exceed the regulatory 120 degrees. Please refrain from this practice immediately and heat bottles using the tap moving forward.

The a large cement block was used to hold down stacked rubber flooring tiles on the outdoor playground. Please remove the cement block from the playground and find another way to store these items. Additionally, several tote covers were cracked and in need of repair.
One of the reviewed IHCP's did not document a parent signature. Another IHCP document did not document child symptoms. Additionally, some of the reviewed IHCP documents did not document who was trained in the administration of the medication and who trained staff.
