The program must use an injury log, moving forward. This may be electronic or in hard copy. The program did keep record of injury and incident report forms.
The lower cabinets under the sink in the Dalet classroom were not locked and stored disinfectant wipes. Additionally, a hot tea inside a Yeti mug was observed within reach of children. In the Chet Room, a Yeti mug was observed within reach of children. In the Hay classroom, an AC cord connected to an extension cord was not secured and within reach of children. There was also a leaky sink with a Tupperware below the pipe of the leak, within reach of children.
One of the large garbage cans in an adjoining bathroom was uncovered.
The J Adventure program uses the gym space. There were large electrical fans in the space, at the time of the visit. These fans are tippable and may not be within reach of children. Please store in another area.

School Age Programming - The reviewed staff records did not document one or more of the following required items: proof of physical exam, proof of MMR immunity, EEC Essentials 12 hour training certifications, First Aid certification and / or CPR certification. Additionally, some of the School Age Work Verification Forms did not document all required information for the designated staff member.

At the time of the visit, EEC observed a weighted sleep sack stored in the crib section of the infant classroom. Please return this sleep sack to the appropriate parent. The sack may not be used for children in care.
Staff CPR Training - R Apr 2025
EEC observed hot thermoses with tea bags on the floor of the gym space. Children and staff were using the gym space, at the time of the visit.
One of the reviewed classroom staff reported that 10 children were in care. Only 9 children were signed in on the attendance document.

EEC reviewed a sampling of Staff BRC's against the EEC BRC Navigator System. One of the reviewed staff BRC's expired. The program is in the process of rerunning this BRC. Several other staff were listed as expired, but no longer work at the program. The Program Director / Licensee will inactivate employment for these accounts on Navigator.
Safe Sleep Practices
At the time of the visit, a log documenting the sleep practices of the infant classroom, as in accordance with EEC's Safe Sleep Policy, was not available for licensor review.
BRC
The program contracts with Healy Bus drivers who are BRC'd via the Healy CORI process. However, drivers were not BRC'd through EEC's BRC Navigator System as in accordance with EEC BRC regulations.

SACC: One of the reviewed staff records did not document a current CPR / First Aid Certification for a staff member hired in 2019. The staff member was scheduled for a CPR / First Aid Course on `12/13.

[redacted]: The [redacted] Staff Meeting log did not consistently document two hours of staff meeting per month, staff attendance and / or the meeting agenda.
EEC reviewed staff BRC's against the EEC / BRC Licensing Database and the EEC BRC Navigator. Of the [redacted] staff reviewed, [redacted] staff BRC's expired, [redacted] staff did not have a finger print scan date and / or suitability result documented in the database; and [redacted] staff had a BRC that required re-submission. EEC could not located the BRC result for [redacted] staff member.

School Age Programming - EEC could not identify any posted Allergy Lists accross the SACC programming.
The sandbox located on the infant playground was not compliant with EEC fall zones and / or surfacing. Additionally, bark mulch was not sufficient around the fall zones located around the climbing wall and slide on the preschool playground.
School Age Care - the Program Site Coordinator reported that children in care required medications, however, medications, corresponding paper work and allergy postings were not available for EEC review, at the time of the visit. Preschool Care - One child's IHCP documented the use of Benedryl, however, this medication was not available for the child, at the time of the visit.
EEC observed a staff member engaging with their personal phone rather than with the children in care. Please refrain from using personal phones / devices while in the classroom and interacting with / supervising children in care.
At the time of the visit, one child was sleeping in an evacuation crib that stored a blanket under the mattress.
One of the reviewed [REDACTED] documented an expired date.
One child's Individual Health Care Plan documented the use of [REDACTED] however, [REDACTED] was not stored on site for the child.
