Outdoor Space
It was observed that children were jumping from the top of the fire truck to the ground and children were playing on an airplane seesaw in the preschool playground. The fall zones contained a depth of approximately 2-3 inches of wood mulch placed on top of blacktop.

Staff:child ratios and groupings
When the Licensor walked into the infant classroom there was one educator to six sleeping infants. It was reported the other educator was in the bathroom located in the adjacent classroom.
Safe Sleep
While observing the sleeping infants in pack and play's, the sheets were not fitted. The sheets had extra material gathered under and around the sleeping infants.

Emergency medications readily available
The Toddler/ Preschool Teacher had their back towards the children on the opposite side of the classroom cleaning, while four toddlers sat at the table alone eating.
An educator in the toddler/preschool classroom was observed standing by the closet looking over the children, when a toddler was sitting on the floor crying and several other children were sitting and waiting for their turn in the bathroom. The educator was not engaging or interacting with children.
Staff Schedule current and posted
The floors in all classrooms were sticky, and looked stained and dirty. The corners of the bathroom had accumulated dirt and tissue. The shelves in the classrooms had dirt on them. The Book shelf in the toddler/preschool had dirt, playdough, and dust under the books. The closet area children use had beads, dirt and residue along the floor boards and the brackets on the floor. The carpets in all rooms were stained, and had debris on them. Including the infant room that was closed that day. The walls had crayon, dirt, and a dark substance throughout the toddler/preschool room. The toddler/preschool room table had glue, or a sticky substance it. The infant classroom had one sink, used for handwashing after diapering and when heating children's bottles. They did not have a procedure for washing and disinfecting the sink after each diaper change when staff and children wash their hands.

Medication
An Epi-Pen for a child with a peanut allergy was not stored in the original box with the prescription label.
Indoor Space
The toddler/preschool classroom chairs and tables were to big for the young toddlers, their feet did not reach the floor.
This monitoring outside differential licensing cycle visit inspection recorded no violations or advisories.

Staff and children wash hands: after toileting or diapering
An educator in the toddler/preschool classroom was observed standing by the closet looking over the children, when a toddler was sitting on the floor crying the educator was not responsive. Several other children were sitting and waiting for their turn in the bathroom. The educator was not engaging with the children or providing activities to the children that were just sitting and waiting.
Last updated in March of 2024, several educators have moved classrooms, two educators listed do not work at the program.
The educator changing the toddler's diapers did not wash the child’s hands or their hands after changing a child’s diaper.
The emergency medications for the preschool classroom were outside with the toddler/preschool classroom in the first aid bag.
