Licensing Specialist was informed a child care personnel did not comply with the facility's written disciplinary and expulsion policies. Provider came back in compliance for this standard at time of inspection. T/A Given in regards to all staff should be following the discipline policy which means no touching a child inappropriately at any given time or situation

One or more children were not adequately supervised in that 2 children (2 yr old's) left the playground area and was found on the sidewalk in front of the building , which posed an imminent threat to a child, and could or did result in death or serious harm to the health, safety or well-being of a child was observed. Licensing Specialist observed during the facilitys licensure year, fire drills utilizing the approved alarm system were not conducted monthly at various dates and times when children were in care, no drill conducted since 10/3/24. Provider was given a
Licensing Specialist observed one personnel/ volunteer (ten hours or more per month) record did not include a CF-FSP 5337 Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Requirements form signed annually. Assistant Director had staff complete document at time of inspection, putting the provider back in compliance for this standard. Licensing Specialist observed the facility owner failed to notify the licensing authority within five working days of when the facility lost the credentialed director or when there was a change of director. Licensing Specialist was informed that the old director resigned on 12/16/24, a new director was hired for this location on 1/9/25, putting the facility back in compliance for this standard. The facilitys first aid kit was within reach of children in that a child was able to gain access to it's contents. This was resolved at time of inspection
Child care personnel failed to document an accident or incident on the day that it occurred. This was resolved at time of inspection
As a mandated reporter, the owner, operator, employee, volunteer or substitute failed to report suspected child abuse or neglect as required in section 39.201, Florida Statutes, In that a child had access to a teachers pill caddy and failed to report this incident to any entity of the state.
