On January 11, 2024, the Office of Child Care Licensing (OCCL) received a complaint regarding the center not notifying OCCL of a serious injury to a child and not following expulsion policies. An investigation was conducted on January 12, 2024. Based on the results of this investigation this complaint is substantiated for not notifying OCCL of a serious injury to a child because the center administrator did not notify OCCL by direct voice contact within one business day. There is no evidence to substantiate the center is not following its expulsion policy because the center administrator stated she provided more than 30 days notice before disenrolling Child #1.
