Supervision of Children Staff shall ensure visual supervision of children, except as allowed in rules 6.2.6.1-6.2.6.4 of these regulations.
Four infants, with three of the children reportedly awake at the time, were left unattended behind the closed infant room door by the Program Director. Information gathered indicates the children were alone for 2-3 minutes before a parent arrived and entered the room. The Program Director reportedly returned to the infant room approximately 2-3 minutes after the parent's arrival. This is a serious violation of supervision warranting a parental notification letter.
