The Licensee was out of compliance with this rule by exceeding the group size of children in care. At the time of the inspection, there were 17 children in care with one caregiver.
The Licensee was out of compliance with rule R430-90-13(3) by having choking hazards accessible to children younger than 3 years old. In the living room, there were broken crayons and fake nails that fit into the choke tube. This was a repeat rule noncompliance as noted on 3/22/2023.
The Licensee was out of compliance with R430-90-13(17) by having hot water accessible to children that exceeded 120 degrees Fahrenheit. At the time of the inspection, the hot water in the upstairs bathroom exceeded 128 degrees Fahrenheit.
The Licensee was out of compliance with rule R430-13(11) by having electrical outlets without protective covers when not in use. In the living room and upstairs bedroom, there were outlets without protective covers. This was a repeat rule noncompliance as noted on 3/4/2024.
