An educator was observed sitting outside the classroom door for a period of less than two minutes leaving the class unattended during naptime. A CCR&R coach conducted a visit on 1-3-25 at 1:00 PM. Upon arrival, one educator greeted the representative, facilitated entry, and requested that the visitor sign the log. Another educator was observed sitting in the hallway eating lunch, and the Director joined shortly after. It was further clarified that the teacher assigned to the classroom had stepped out momentarily to retrieve a plate of food. The Director acknowledged the lapse in supervision and indicated that the plate should have been delivered to the classroom to maintain proper ratio.
