Plan Of Corrective Action: Educators will review the rules regarding supervision and will remain within sight of children at all times.

See Below for Detailed Information 1240-04-01-.14 EQUIPMENT FOR CHILDREN Observation: There was less than six inches of resilient surfacing at the base of the slide. Plan of Corrective Action: The owner completed a Plan of Corrective Action on 09//28/18 which stated that the agency immediately placed pea gravel in the area around the slide within 24 hours of the Program Evaluator's visit. The owner stated that more pea gravel will be delivered within the next 5 to 7 days and the agency will be replacing the wood chips with pea gravel. Additionally, the owner states extra bags of pea gravel will be stored outside the playground so teachers can fill any areas that need to be filled immediately. Pictures were emailed to CCPE Richardson on 09/28/18 showing the pea gravel which had been placed in the area at the base of the slide.
