Ensure the staff are aware of how many children are in care even during a fire drill. The center had an unexpected fire drill. During the transition from the building to the parking lot, one child in one group was walking behind her teachers and the other students in her group. A staff member was walking behind the child and alerted the classrooms teachers that the child was not with the assigned group.
