Prior to use for child care, all indoor and outdoor child care space shall be: Inspected and approved by the local fire inspector, in accordance with RSA 170-E:6 and He-C 4002.02(e)(3).

The licensing coordinator's observation that another afterschool enrichment program was using the same space, while the children from the Seacoast Community School - New Franklin PEAK program were in care. The program manager stated that the two programs use the same space weekly. Corrective action: A fieldtrip permission form will be filled signed by all families allowing their children to be in another space for the determined time on the form with an assigned PEAK teacher who will be determined and documented as the trip lead. The other group will move their programming to another space during the duration of this weekly project.

Program managers shall ensure that for each child there is a “Child Care Registration and Emergency Information” (August 2025) form, completed by the parent or guardian, or an equivalent form on file on the child’s first day in attendance.

The licensing coordinator's review of 10 children's files revealed that for two children the Child Registration and Emergency Information forms were not the equivalent of the September 2025 form, as the forms were missing the required statement under He-C 4002.10(c). Corrective action: These registrations and Emergency forms will be signed and placed in the children's files before the 1st of January. All Registration forms will be filled out by all incoming students and reviewed every year by all parents for updating their student's file. This procedure will be put in placed in writing by January 1st, 2026.
