The licensing coordinator observed, in the Pandas Classroom, one Epipen and one bottle of Children’s Allergy Relief were accessible to the children in the emergency backpack which was located on a shelf 30 inches from the floor. The Epipen and Children’s Allergy Relief were immediately removed from the emergency backpack and placed in a location inaccessible to the children. Corrective action: We immediately moved the backpack. Now each day the lead teacher checks with location of the bag and then once she arrives the assistant teacher double checks.
