The licensing coordinator observed an emergency backpack containing two inhalers that was on a low counter in the gross motor classroom being used by the preschool children. The center director immediately moved the backpack out of the reach of children. Corrective action: All staff have been reminded to hang the emergency backpacks on the hooks provided in each classroom., and on the walls outside. The site manager and Education manager will complete random checks, in gross motor rooms and outside to make sure the backpacks are hung up, out of reach of children.
