The licensing coordinator’s inspection of the diaper changing station revealed the diaper changing mat cover was torn and no longer non-porous. Corrective action: Diaper changing procedures now include being done on a pad (not torn and easily able to be spray cleaned) is placed on bathroom floor during changes.
The licensing coordinator’s review of program files revealed the program had not documented any of the required emergency response drills in 2023. Corrective action: The first day of each month we will schedule the evacuation to be practiced and date to be done. This date will be put on the calendar.
