The licensing coordinator observed that one of the two potty receptacles in the bathroom had not been emptied and sanitized after use. Corrective action: To prevent this from happening again, both potty receptacles will be emptied, cleaned, and sanitized immediately after each use
REPEAT CITATION, PREVIOUSLY CITED ON AUGUST 15, 2025, UNDER He-C 4002.23(c). The licensing coordinator observed a container of disinfectant wipes on an accessible shelf and two bottles of Poo-Pourri spray stored in one of the accessible lower pouches of the over-the-door storage unit in the bathroom. The provider corrected this non-compliance by moving all items to a high shelf on the porch during the inspection. The program previously corrected this non-compliance during the August 15, 2025, visit. This constitutes a repeat citation regarding harmful items being accessible to children. Corrective action: To prevent this from occurring again, all cleaning products, disinfectants, air fresheners, and other potentially harmful items will be stored only in designated high or locked storage areas that are inaccessible to children. A daily health and safety inspection will be completed before children arrive each morning to ensure no hazardous items have been left within children's reach, including bathroom storage areas. In addition, all staff and household members will be reminded that no harmful items may be stored in accessible locations at any time.

The licensing coordinator's review of program records revealed the program had not conducted the two required EOP drills with child care staff and children during the 2024 calendar year. Corrective action: I will set a reminder on my fire drill clipboard to ensure that all required drills are completed with children and staff, to ensure this will not happen in the future.
This renewal visit inspection recorded no violations or advisories.
The licensing coordinator's observation that two bottles of the provider's medication were on the kitchen counter near the sink, and were accessible to children in the program. Both bottles of medication were moved immediately by the provider during the inspection. Corrective action: I will make a daily check each morning before Childcare starts to make sure all medications is put away in the locked cabinet so it will not be accessible to the children.
