LS observed no evidence of a written daily record of each day's attendance in care that is verified by the child's parent or guardian. Provider to submit a memorandum of understanding of the regulation and how it will be maintained moving forward with evidence of how it will be maintained.
LS observed a child that was napping on another level of the home that was under the age of 2 years old. Provider relocated the child to the same level as the provider and other children of the home at the time of the inspection when she woke up from her nap. LS observed a written statement from the parent approving the provider to allow the child to nap on a separate level. LS explained the regulation and remaining on the same level at all times. LS observed evidence of a working camera in the room used to observe the child. Provider to submit a memorandum of understanding of this regulation and how it will be maintained moving forward.
LS observed 2 locks on cabinets in the kitchen that need repaired in order to keep potentially harmful items; cleaning supplies and poisonous products; inaccessible to children. Provider to submit photographic evidence that the locks have been fixed.
