Large flat screen television in the living room has straps that were not attached at the time of the visit. Hair dryer and flat iron cords dangling on the bathroom counter. Barricade gate was not in place for the large stove in the living room. This gate must be in place whenever daycare children are present. Educator secured during the visit. Cardboard box with sticks and an air conditioner accessible on the deck to the play area.

Attendance is tracked in a notebook calendar with the arrival and departure times. Attendance was not accurate at the time of visit. Attendance must be accurate at any given point in the day.
Reviewed four children's files. Files need signed annual update forms. Three of the children have outdated physical/immunization documentation. This information must be updated annually.
CPR certification expired on October 22, 2019. First aid is still current. Educator must email licensor written proof of course completion ASAP.
Observed the educator changing a diaper on a waterproof pad. No disposable layer was used even though the educator had paper changing cloths accessible.The educator did not wash her hands or the child's hands after diapering.
