The Educator did not wash and disinfect the eating surface before and after use.
After changing a diaper, the educator washed their hands in a sink that was also used to prepare food.
The diapering area was not separate from the food preparation area. Children were changed on a pad which was placed on top of the kitchen counter.
The Educator was not in sufficient proximity to a child able to intervene in the time of need and was not positioned to see and/or hear a child that was awake behind a closed door. Educator was in the kitchen.
A child was being kept behind a closed door in an unlicensed area that was not safe, clean and free from hazards and clutter. Thumb tacks, peeling paint, tipping hazards, and other hazards were all with in reach of the child.
There is no evidence of a plan describing how program activities support and engage children through specific learning experiences.
