Indoor Space
The program was not meeting the Teacher:Child ratio in the Toddler 2 classroom. When the Licensor entered the Toddler 2 classroom there was one Educator alone with 9 toddlers.
The wooden dramatic play kitchen set was not secured in the PS 2 classroom.
At the time of the visit the Toddler 2 classoom had an IPAD and attendance clipboard on top of the diaper changing table, the diaper changing table cannot be used for any other purpose.

Medication
When reviewing IHCP's and medication the following was learned; 1. 1 child's IHCP stated to administe[REDACTED]the parent also filled out a plan and did not list Zyrtec they only listed the epi-pen so the plans did not match and were confusing. The parent provided the program with Benadryl and not Zyrtec which was not listed on either plan. 2. 1 child had [REDACTED]at the program with their[REDACTED]but it was not listed on the IHCP.
This change of space visit inspection recorded no violations or advisories.
At the time of the visit the following was noted: Wooden shelving units and dramatic play furniture was not secured and potentially tippable.
At the time of the visit a child in the Toddler 1 classroom started to fall asleep on an Educators lap, the Educator woke him up and sat him beside her. The child's eyes were heavy/closing, his head was bobbing, and he was crying on/off, the Educator tried to keep the child awake by reading a book and rubbing his back. The Educator did not meet this child's individual needs.
At the time of the visit the following was noted: 1. hand sanitizer, bleach/water spray and force of nature spray were found stored on a low shelving unit accessible to children in the PS 2 classroom. 2. Sunscreen was found in a bucket stored on a low shelving unit accessible to children in the PS 1 classroom.
