When the licensor arrived the educator was outside of the fenced in backyard where she could not see the children
The licensor observed the following in the kitchen: there were 2 drawers that were not locked and contained hazards: Saran Wrap, cling wrap and a sharp knife
The (REDACTED) infant was asleep in a bassinet that was not appropriate for her. The infant can roll and stand up so the bassinet was not appropriate for her age and development
The (REDACTED) infant was napping when the licensor arrived. There was a light book on the chest of the infant and a soft toy and a sound machine in the bassinet with the infant. This is the Educator’s second citation of safe sleep, the first one was in 2017.
The following was observed: kitchen: 1 drawer was not latched and batteries and scissors were accessible the cabinet under the sink was not locked and dishwasher soap and regular soap was accessible. In the downstairs bathroom: the trash did not have a cover and the radiator was rusted

The educator’s licensed capacity was reduced to 8 children(6+2) on February 19, 2025. There were 9 children present today at the time of the visit, none of them were school age. The educator had an approved FCC provider working with her today but the educator cannot exceed her capacity of 8 at this time

A drawer in the kitchen was found to contain items (including paper clips and assorted small items) that pose a choking hazard. A drawer in the playroom was found to contain small items that pose a choking hazard to children. A can of fire extinguishing spray was accessible to children on a low shelf. Educator moved during visit.
