Napping Materials
Licensor inspected all of the indoor licensed space, as well as the outdoor playspace. The only hazard observed inside was that the door to the utility, which is located in the bathroom, was not locked. There were cleaners/chemicals inside. Discussed that this door needs to remain locked so that the children do not have access to the hazards inside. Outside, Educator has a plastic slide at the bottom of the driveway that is over 18 inches and has no fall zone. Any equipment that is used that is over 18 inches, is required to have a fallzone. This item needs to be removed or a fallzone needs to be installed.
For napping, there are multiple pack and plays and nap mats. Some of the blankets were being stored together. Licensor discussed that all blankets and linens have to be stored separately to avoid cross contamination.
