A review of seven children record showed one child was missing lead result two were missing physicals and seven enrollment packages were expired. Licensor recommended that the educator thoroughly review each child’s record to ensure all required documentation is current and complete for every enrolled child.

Progress Reports
Records were reviewed for all enrolled children. Three children needed proof of medical documentation. Gave technical assistance regarding the Annual Update form and the General Permission section of the enrollment packet.
There was not proof of current progress reports for seven of the enrolled children.
EEC Assistant
The Educator’s mother was helping to staff the program while the Certified Assistant was on break. Discussed volunteers do not count towards adult-child ratios and the mother would need to be approved by EEC as an assistant. The mother did have an approved background record check as she is a household member.
