First Aid Kit
Licensor inspected all of the licensed, indoor space during the visit, as well as the outdoor playspace. The following hazards were observed: **KITCHEN** - 2 drawers had sharp knives and other sharp utensils inside, left cabinet has mist spray and other bottles that need to be removed **BEDROOM 2** - no hazards **BEDROOM 1** - night stand had sharp objects and dresser had 1 cabinet with nail polish remover **PLAYROOM** - 2 shelving units need to be secured to the wall as they are tipping hazards, top left drawer has hazards such as sharpies, and small chokable items, 2 outlets not covered ** BATHROOM** - no hazards **OUTSIDE** - sand pit did not have a cover.
During the renewal visit, Educator had a portable heater running in the foyer. Tested the smoke detector in the bedroom and the carbon monoxide detector in the kitchen and they both worked properly.

Exit Safety
Licensor randomly reviewed 4 of the children's records. Of these, 1 was complete and up to date, 2 ad out of date lead testing, and the 4th had an out of date physical and immunizations.
Educator has an up to date Evacuation Log as she completes a fire drill every month and uses both exits (1 after the other). The most recent drill on 11/21. However, Educator needs to add the length of time it took to complete the drill.
All of the required items were observed in the first aid kit except the CPR mouth guard and the emergency contact forms need to be updated.
Educator has not completed all 30 hours of professional development. Discussed completing these hours as soon as possible.
Licensor randomly reviewed 4 of the children's records. Of these, 3 had complete and up to date progress reports, but the 4th report was out of date.
There are 2 exits form the home, the front door and back door. Both of the exits were easily accessible. However, the front door did not have an exit sign posted.

Educator has only completed one progress report. Please ensure all progress reports are completed and include a plan on how progress reports will remain up to date in the future.
Licensor walked through licensed space and observed the following hazards: Indoor- **Kitchen** There was a drawer that contained aluminum foil and cleaning products. There was a knife block and scissors on the counter. Please make these items inaccessible to childcare children. **Bedroom 1** There were stairs located off of this room that were not gated. Pleas ensure this gate is always up. **Bedroom 2** There were two drawers that contained loose chargers. Please ensure these chargers are not accessible to childcare children. **Playroom** No hazards. **Bathroom** There were bottles of shampoo and conditioner in bathtub. Please move these items at least 4 feet high. **Living Area**- There was a junk drawer that was not locked. There was one electrical outlet uncovered. Please resolve these items. Outdoor- There was chipping paint on exterior of the home. There was an unstable fence surrounding the play space. There were also areas of the fence that had spacing that exceeded 3.5 inches (from the fence to the floor) and pose an entrapment hazard. Please ensure all chipping paint is removed and secure fencing. Please upload pictures once resolved.

Educator did not have doors ajar where children were napping, and the rooms were not well lit. Please ensure that the door remains ajar while children are napping, the room is well-lit, and that you check on the children every 15 minutes.
There was chipping paint located on the exterior of the home. Please ensure there is no chipping or peeling paint on the exterior or interior of the home. Please upload pictures once completed.
