Space (indoor / outdoor hazards) - R Apr 2025
During a walkthrough of all licensed space the following hazards were observed: *Outdoors: Slide over 18 inches requiring a fall zone and a gap in fencing. Please remove the slide or install proper fall zones. Please use fencing to cover the gap and reduce risk of children leaving the fenced area.

Chipping and Peeling Paint
Flaking paint observed in non licensed space (the Livingroom). Educator informed no peeling or flaking paint allowed on the premises. Will correct it and provide pictures either in the report or emailed directly to licensor.

Educator emailed Licensor a copy of her Parent Handbook. Licensor reviewed the handbook, which is very detailed and all encompassing. There only thing Educator's handbook is missing is a Lead Disclosure, which is a requirement.
Educator uses a changing table with a changing pad. Educator does not use a disposable layer. Licensor discussed the need to begin using a disposable layer for every diaper change. Also, Licensor observed Educator change multiple diapers during the visit. Educator did not wash her hands or the children's hands after each diaper change, as is required per regulations.
Licensor walked through all of the licensed space and observed the following hazards: ** Front room - no hazards ** Center room - cleaners on changing table and Glade spray, accessible to the children. ** Kitchen - no hazards ** Bathroom - hygiene products in the closet and in the shower. These items need to be up at least 4 ft high. Closet has a lock but it was not engaged and there are hazards inside (cleaners). ** Outside - no hazards

Licensor discussed with Eduator that she was over her capacity of children under [REDACTED] as she had [REDACTED] children under [REDACTED]. During the visit, Educator contacted a parent of one of the children and that child left the program.

Educator currently has 4 children enrolled. Licensor reviewed all 4 children's records. Of these, 3 were complete and up to date, and the 4th had out of date [REDACTED]
All of the required items were observed in the first aid kit, except for band aids.
