There were 6 educators to 18 toddler/preschool children, although the classrooms were mostly separated with furniture there were walkways for the children to go in and out of each room freely. Indoor Space
It was reported that there are 18 children in the program and the children go in between the classrooms. The classroom attendance had all 18 children listed on one sheet.
The program had materials for the children to choose from, but the arrangement of the materials did not provide children with opportunity to choose art, dramatic play, music, math, science. There were not enough materials or spaces in the classroom to promote imagination and creativity. There was not enough developmentally appropriate materials for each age group.
The classrooms had some blind spots due to the furniture arrangement. A shelf 4ftx4ft was in-between the two learning centers, creating a space the children could not be seen in from the other areas in the classroom.
