The licensor reviewed a sample packet of children records and observed the following: 1)Child #2 has an expired lead test and needs an updated one, the last one on file is from 9/16/2024.
The licensor observed that the evacuation log was being filled incorrectly. The educator had not been alternating exits, as the fire drills for the last two months were conducted using the same exit.

During the visit, 4 children records were reviewed. Child #2 lead screening results were not up to date in the file.
Per EEC regulations, programs serving children younger than three years old, barriers must be placed at the top and bottom of stairwells opening into areas used by children. During the visit, Licensor observed educator had children under 3 years old present, and no barrier was placed at the bottom stairways located near the front entrance and leading from the 1st floor to the 2nd floor level of the home.
During the visit, Licensor observed the emergency plan was incomplete. The plan did not included written "lockdown procedures".

EEC regulations require that the licensee must provide a separate mat, cot, sofa, portacrib, playpen, bassinet or bed, AND blanket for each child present at any time during the day. During the visit, Licensor observed the following: 1) The 4 older children present were sleeping on blankets on the floor. 2) The two infants under 12 months that were present present were observed in car seats upon Licensor's arrival. Per educator she had playpens available which were observed folded and store with other items on top, and were not being used.
