Diapering and Toileting for children under 2.9
During the visit, it was observed by the Licensor that the mixed Infant/Toddler classroom (recently moved to a new classroom space in June 2025) did not have a diaper changing table in the classroom. despite being depicted in photographs sent by the program to the Licensor on 6/24/25. The Director stated during the 1/30/26 visit that educators do not use the diaper changing table and instead, change children in a standing position or on a towel. EEC requires that the changing surface is smooth, intact, impervious to water and easily cleaned. The Licensor requested the program submit a Diapering/Toileting plan to its LEAD document library for review.

Safe Sleep
Outdoor Space - R Apr 2025
-During the visit, two infants under the age of twelve months were observed sleeping on nap mats in the classroom. Educators appeared to be appropriately supervising each child. -The program did not have an individual crib, port-a-crib, playpen or bassinet assigned for each child under the age of 12 mos. -During the visit, educators and the Licensee stated that having a child nap in a crib was not aligned with the program's Montessori philosophy as the children should have freedom of movement. -EEC regulation 7.11(13)(e)(2) indicates that "Programs serving infants must nap infants in an individual crib, portacrib, playpen or bassinet."
The playground had a swing that was hung approximately 3-4 feet in between two trees. The use zone should extend a minimum of 6 feet from the perimeter of the supporting structure.
Upon a review of three Staff Records at the program, the following was identified: -One staff record did not include a BRC Consent Form, evidence of an orientation checklist, or an annual performance evaluation for a staff member hired in May of 2021. -One staff record did not include evidence of an orientation checklist or monthly observations for a staff member hired in September of 2022. -One staff record did not include an annual performance evaluation for a staff member hired in April of 2018.

A review of three Children's Records at the program indicated the following: -One child's record did not have current EEC required forms for regulation 7.04(07). The child's record included forms that were last signed in September of 2020. -One child's record contained EEC required forms for regulation 7.04(07) but were not signed by the parent.
Staff Records - R Apr 2025
Upon a review of the BRC Navigator system, the program has three staff members not listed as being affiliated with the specific program location site. These three staff members are however, suitable under another site location operated by the provider. A suitability transfer for the correct program site location is needed for each of the three individual staff members.

A review of three Children's Records at the program indicated the following: -One child's record did not have evidence of a Medication Consent Form for a prescribed (REDACTED) or a Medication Consent Form for prescribed (REDACTED).
In the Children's House bathroom, there is chipped and flaking paint behind a child sized sink that is in need of repair.
