Proper sanitizing techniques; Bottles labeled and out of children's reach
Staff monitor environment for hazards-Hazardous items not accessible to children
The carpet in the Koala room was stained with food and dirt. The Capet in the Butterfly classroom was stained. The floors around the shelves , furniture and floor boards had dirt, food, on the walls
The butterfly classrooms cleaning supplies were on the cabinet next to the microwave in reach of children. The infant toddler classroom had their cleaning supplies right next to the changing table within reach of the children.
The butterfly classroom had a hot coffee pot plugged in within reach of children.

The large gate that goes to the street on the Preschool playground was damaged. There was a large gap in-between the two swinging gates that creates a head entrapment. The bottom of the fence throughout the playgrounds need to be secured to the ground or a pole. there are gaps in the bottom of the fence in several spaces that a child could escape from.

In two classrooms the cleaning supplies were within reach to the children. In one of the Preschool classrooms a educators purse was within reach of the children on the window sill.
Child guidance practices are supportive, nurturing, and responsive to children
During the observation of a preschool classroom, the teachers were helping children go to sleep. I observed a teacher hold a child’s arm down and trying to get the child to lay down. Another teacher in the room was rubbing a child’s back and she appeared to be putting pressure on the child’s back.
