EEC Assistant
The educator has been working with an unapproved caregiver, caregiver has applied to become a certified assistant but has not yet finished the process. Discussed with the educator that this unapproved caregiver could not be on the premises or provide care for the childcare children because she has not yet been approved as an assistant.
Upon arrival, the caregivers present at the program were educator (from another daycare) and certified assistant 1 . Unapproved assistant 2 was also present. Shortly after arrival, the educator of the program, arrived to complete the visit. In a subsequent email, the licensor informed the educator that she and her fellow educator must work in their own programs and cannot work in each other programs. Please respond with your plan to maintain the program with approved caregivers and to stay within ratio.
