An Assistant Teacher was left alone unsupervised with four toddler children. During the visit, the Licensor informed the Director that Assistants could not be left alone and the program immediately placed a qualified teacher in the classroom with the Assistant. During the visit, the Director stated that the Assistant Teacher is scheduled to complete a CARES course at the end of the month for certification purposes.

A walk through of the playground indicated the following: -There is an inadequate amount of depth safety surfacing on the playground near the play structures. -There is an air conditioner in the window of the preschool class that is at child-height that has sharp edging that needs to be covered to protect children in order to prevent a potential injury. -To the left of the door there is a broken piece of vinyl siding that is in need of repair/replacement. -There is unknown vegetation growing in the corner of the toddler side of the playground.

Staff Schedule/Qualifications - R Sep 2025
The staff schedule was not posted. The Program must keep the schedule current and posted in an area easily visible to educators, parents and visitors. *This has been corrected, as the Staff Schedule was posted by the Director during the visit.
The following was observed: -The main entrance to the Program and the egress exit door between Rooms 2 and 3 both did not have an emergency/evacuation procedure posted. This was corrected during the visit, as the Director posted emergency/evacuation procedures at these two exits.
