This investigation inspection recorded no violations or advisories.
Children were allowed to play outdoors with an unlicensed assistant while the licensor was conducting the visit. The licensor informed the educator that children were not allowed to go outdoors with an unapproved person and the children were brought back inside. A child was found sleeping behind closed doors in the nap room with a Pitbull.
CPR and First Aid expired. According to the educator, she is taking the in person part of the training on 4/28/23.

A box was obstructing the front exit. The box was stored between the couch and the wall.
Two paint buckets were accessible to children. One in the hallway and the second one in the nap room. Kitchen cabinets and drawers were unlocked at the time of the visit allowing children to have access to multiple cleaning detergents, plastic bags, and can opener.

A [REDACTED] child was placed in the bedroom to sleep without supervision and the door closed. The child was supervised during the visit.
Multiple knives, lighter, can opener, and scissors were accessible to children in unlocked kitchen cabinets. Fantastic detergent and clorox wipes were on top of the kitchen counter. Fabreeze and clorox wipes were accessible to children on top of the toilet tank.

There was a young lady by the name of {REDACTED} working with the educator and caring for the children without an EEC License and who has not completed a BRC process .
According to the educator, she cares for seven children on Tuesdays. When the licensors checked the children's records they noted that none of the children in care are {REDACTED} children. This brings the educator over her program capacity on Tuesdays.
Records indicate that children that were enrolled in 2021 just had their Progress Reports completed on January of 2023. Some files were missing Progress Reports. The educator is not following the frequency stipulated in the regulations for completing Progress Reports.
The educator was using an unlicensed assistant.
An unapproved assistant was found caring for the children in the playroom.
A {REDACTED} that does not belong to the educator was being cared for in the Nap Room. The educator sent the dog upstairs and later the dog approached both licensors while they were checking the program’s paperwork.
There were two trash bags outside the emergency door. This is a recurrent citation.
An {REDACTED} was observed in a bouncy chair with a bottle propped.

Licensors did not see any proof that the curriculum includes goals for the knowledge and skills to be acquired by children in the areas of: ELA, math, Science, Technology.Engineering, History and Social Science, Comprehensive Health and the Arts. As stated on regulation 7.06(1)(a)(4), when asked for a proof of curriculum, Educator stated she does not have one. Educator showed the routine but stated that is what they attempt to follow everyday.
