When asked, the Director, who was supervising the school age group, did not know the number of children she was assigned to care for. She stated 17, but 21 were in attendance. The program must have a method of knowing exactly who is present on the premises at any given point in the day.

Programs will be licensed for the maximum number of children who may be in the care of educators at any one time, taking into consideration the size and layout of the physical facility, the number and qualifications of educators, the equipment and resources available to the children, the individual needs and characteristics of the children served, and the building certificate capacity, if applicable. At no time shall a program admit, supervise or provide care for more than the maximum number of children indicated on the license. The Director stated that 29 children were in attendance based on the licensing visit on 3/8/2022 to assess the programs capacity for increase.

The following were observed indoors: -Chipped paint -Two cords in the bathroom that were over 6 inches and were accessible to children. -one long cabinet that was tippable. -A bottle that did not have a label. -A red rug that was curling creating a potential trip hazard. -The toilet in one bathroom was broken, removed from the drain and had long screws protruding around the drainage area. -One white open wire near the back bathrooms was accessible to children. -A blanket was laying on a cot in the "rest area."

The following were observed: -The red rug was curling. -There were orange cone barriers and a trash can in front of the exit from the large classroom. -A piece or trim was partially removed on a post near the bathroom. -A ladder was tippable and broken couch were accessible in the smaller room.
The Driver reported that he no longer had a first aid kit.
