Cited finding

During the visit, the educator in the upstairs classroom had 11 preschool children in their care. The educator walked down a hallway adjacent to the classroom with all of the children for bathroom time. As some children finished using the bathroom and handwashing, they walked back into hallway line and/or in went into the classroom. However, there were still 2 children in the bathroom. The educator did strategically place themselves in the hallway trying to watch all of the children simultaneously. However, the educator could not see around the corner into the bathroom or around the corner into the classroom. This means children are inadvertently being left unsupervised. Educators must exercise appropriate supervision of the children in their care.
