During the monitoring visit, the licensor observed a slide more than 18 inches in height in the educator's outdoor play space.
Space (health risks) - R Apr 2025
We discussed to repair the following hazards: barricade the wide space in between the railings to ensure that it is not wider than 3 1/2 inches, there is some rust and peeling paint on the back exit railings in need of repair. Please complete the peeling paint compliance statement form when repairs are done. We also discussed to submit a copy of the receipt from a licensed electrician to indicate that the heating system was installed properly and complies with heating regulations.

We discussed to submit pictures of the new basement space to show that the construction materials have been remove, and the toys and educational materials have been set up and secured for child care. Also, discussed to install a gate at the bottom of the stairs.

We discussed to cushion the visible heating pipes and a small hole in the wall.
There is some peeling paint on the front entrance door in need of repair. Please complete the peeling paint compliance statement form when repairs are done.

Outdoor Playspace - Hazards
The educator has two plastic slides that are higher than 18 inches. We discussed proper ground cover needs to be installed that is at least 6 inches deep and 6 feet all around the equipment. A copy of the Outdoor Playground safety Handbook has been sent by email for the educator to review.
