Fall zones adequate depth of impact absorbing material
A random review of children files showed that two children did not have current lead test on file.
The swing set does not have the proper fall zones. The director reported that the wood chips will be replenished in November 2024. The director reported they replenish the woods chips twice a year. The director reported that the child care program does not use the monkey bars and the climbing wall. These equipments are only used by the elementary school.
Medication
Outdoor Space - R Apr 2025
The Licensor conducted a walk through the outdoor play area. The Licensor was not able to check the fall zones because the ground was wet due to rain. The director reported that the the rock wall climbing wall is not used for the child care program and is only used by the elementary program. Licensor discussed the use zones under and around swings, slides, and climbing structures must be covered with an adequate depth of an impact absorbing material, in accordance with the EEC policy. Licensor discussed the swings, tire climber and arch rainbow climber do not meet the playground safety requirements and must not be used.
One medication expired at the time of visit. The director will follow up with parent to obtain the new medication.
Equipment is clean, safe, secured, and poses no hazard.

The children attendance must be accurate and must reflect the actual times of arrival and departure. In one room the the children attendance had check marks and did not have the actual times. In another classroom the attendance was inconsistent with the number of children present.
Electric fans were in use at the time of the visit. The director reported that the program's AC unit stop working this morning. The program already contacted someone to get it repaired.
The list of allergies and medications must be updated and posted in all classrooms.
