Three staff members present with children with Expired Fingerprints (national criminal history background check by the Federal Bureau of Investigation) on file with the division.
The toddler playground fence has gaps along the bottle of the fence not meeting the ground. A white drainpipe is exposed by the toddler slide creating a trapping hazard. On the preschool/school age playground, small picnic table plastic coating is cracked and exposing the metal. Some of the metal is sharp and cracked plastic has sharp edges.
Consultant over heard staff members yelling at children, through closed doors. One staff member not communicating in a positive manner, when telling the child the “Shut Up”. Consultant could hear in the hallway and in the office, staff members in the classroom yelling at children. Another staff member was not using effective communications with children when yelling at the children to communicate their desire behavior of the child.
In the Two’s room, Infant 2 room, and Early Preschool rooms the sinks seals are cracked and pulling away from the walls. In the Preschool hallway bathrooms on the right, the sinks seals are cracked and pulling away from the wall. In Toddler 2 room, bathroom is used as storage, for toys, broom, and floor chair.
