All caregivers meet qualifications Please update XXXXX 's health and safety training with People Attentive to Children (PATCH).<br/> <br/> <b>All caregiving staff who provide direct care, require sixteen (16) hours of department approved training on an ANNUAL basis in at least two topic areas. Substitutes require at least ten (10) hours of training.</b><br/> <br/> <b>Not meeting this requirement may affect your license to operate a Group Child Care Center (GCC) program. If the staff members are not meeting this requirement, they can be excluded from providing child care which may affect your staff-child ratio and license. Please note that current processing time for health and safety certifications is eight (8) weeks. Please plan accordingly.</b><br/>
