All caregivers, substitutes, and volunteers shall complete initial health and safety training within 45 days of hire Worker verified that all current staff have completed initial health and safety training.<br/> <br/> Please have all before school staff complete initial health and safety assessment and submit to People Attentive to Children (PATCH).<br/>

(1) Each caregiver staff member shall complete at least sixteen hours of department-approved training annually in at least two of the topic areas in subsection (e).<br/> <br/> <br/> Child Care Licensing (CCL) Worker Derik Tamanaha verified that five (5) staff members XXXXX did not meet health and safety training requirements at the time of visit done on April 2, 2025, and one (1) staff member's XXXXX training has expired since the visit and before publishing this report.<br/> <br/> Special Programs Coordinator XXXXX reported to Worker Tamanaha that all trainings had been previously submitted to People Attentive to Children (PATCH) for approval, however, Worker cannot verify this as they have not shown up on the system.<br/> <br/> Once it shows up as updated on the system, this deficiency will be met.<br/> <br/> <b>We are reminding you that all caregiving staff need at least 16 hours of department approved training on an ANNUAL basis in at least two topic areas and substitutes need at least 10 hours of training. If they do not complete this requirement by November 30, 2025, we will have to exclude these staff members and they will not be able to count towards the staff-child ratio until they do, which may affect your Before and After School (BAS) license.</b><br/>
