On July 24, 2025, the Office of Child Care Licensing (OCCL) received a complaint regarding lack of supervision, use of alcohol or being under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs when children are in care, a person who is prohibited present or a household member, a household member with pending police charges, and failure to notify OCCL within one business day of any known new charges, arrests, or convictions of a household member. An investigation was conducted on July 30, 2025. This complaint is substantiated for failure to notify OCCL within one business day of any known new charges, arrests, or convictions of a household member. The provider did not notify OCCL of the new pending charges for HHM #1. The provider will notify OCCL within two business days with any updates regarding the outcome of these charges. There is no evidence to substantiate allegations of lack of supervision or the use of alcohol or being under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs when children are in care. The provider confirmed through statements, documentation, and video they go to the liquor store across the street during their lunch break to purchase a soft drink. There is no evidence to substantiate this complaint for a person who is prohibited present or being a household member. The provider stated Person #1 is not a household member and is at work during child care hours.
