The Office of Child Care Licensing received a complaint on October 21, 2022, regarding lack of supervision, staff shortage, and unqualified staff in classrooms. An investigation was conducted on October 21, 2022. This complaint is substantiated for lack of supervision because a child was able to exit the gymnasium side door unnoticed by staff, and was observed by a passerby in the parking lot next to a high-traffic road in front of the facility. There is no evidence to substantiate this complaint for insufficient staff because each classroom was in ratio and had additional staff throughout the day. This is no evidence to substantiate this complaint for unqualified staff in classrooms because it was observed and documented no unqualified staff were alone with children and all unqualified staff are currently enrolled in the CDA program.
