The licensee shall ensure that evacuation drills are conducted at least once a month, and children and staff are evacuated in under three (3) minutes. Licensees of a CBCCPP located within a public or independent school building may count a lock-down drill performed while the CBCCPP is in operation in place of a monthly evacuation drill with the CBCCPP children and staff and at least three (3) of the monthly drills conducted within 365 days shall be evacuation drills.
The program did not practice monthly evacuation drills in March, July, or October 2025. In addition, in the last twelve (12) months, there was no evacuation drill practiced at nap time. This rule was also cited out of compliance in February 2024 and March 2022.
