The FCCP shall ensure that all prescription medication is in its original container, properly labeled for the child, and administered prior to the expiration date on the container.
Licensor observed Child A's rescue inhaler in its original container and labeled for the child with an expiration date of 4/23/25. This was the child's only rescue inhaler at the FCCH. Discussed with the Provider the status of the medication and the Provider shared that she was unaware the medication had expired. She also shared that the child has not used this medication while in her care.
