The provider was out of compliance with rule R381-100-11(1)(a) by not ensuring that caregivers provide and maintain active supervision by being physically present in the room with children younger than five years old. In the napping room, there were two infants sleeping with no caregivers present in the room. This was a repeat rule noncompliance as noted on January 8, 2024.
The provider was out of compliance with rule R381-100-9(12)(a) by not ensuring that rooms where infants and toddlers are cared for have one sink used exclusively for the preparation of food and bottles and handwashing before food preparation, and another sink that is used only for handwashing after diapering and nonfood activities. In the Baby Land Room, there was only one sink that was being used for bottle preparation and handwashing after diapering.
